Plain-English terms
Roll-Off Dumpster Rental Terms
Every term that can change your bill, with a worked example wherever money is involved. Your quote confirms these for your rental.

How long is the rental, and what does an extra day cost?
Every rental includes 7 days, counted from delivery. Each day past day 7 costs $25. To extend, call before your pickup day. Example: you keep a 20-yard dumpster 10 days, so you pay for 3 extra days, which is $75 on top of the base price.
How is weight included and billed?
Each size includes a set weight: 2 tons in the 10-yard, 2.5 tons in the 15-yard, 3 tons in the 20-yard and 4 tons in the 30-yard. Weight over that is $75 per ton, pro-rated by the exact pound from the landfill's official digital scale ticket. We don't round up to the next ton.
| Size | Included | Net on ticket | Over | Overage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10-yard | 2 tons | 4,500 lb (2.25 t) | 500 lb | $18.75 |
| 15-yard | 2.5 tons | 4,800 lb (2.4 t) | 0 lb | $0.00 |
| 20-yard | 3 tons | 6,800 lb (3.4 t) | 800 lb | $30.00 |
| 30-yard | 4 tons | 9,000 lb (4.5 t) | 1,000 lb | $37.50 |

What proof of weight do you get, and when is the final bill sent?
A digital copy of the certified landfill scale ticket is attached to your final invoice. The final invoice, including any overage or extra days, is emailed 3 to 5 business days after pickup, once the landfill processes the disposal log.
Which items are banned, and which cost extra?
Hazardous chemicals, wet paint and batteries are not allowed in any dumpster. Tires, mattresses and appliances that contain Freon, such as fridges and AC units, cost $50 per item because the landfill processes them separately. Heavy debris like concrete, dirt, brick and sand goes only in the 10-yard or 15-yard dumpster.
Heavy debris may be loaded only halfway up the dumpster walls because of highway weight limits. A load of one unmixed material, such as concrete only, qualifies for clean-fill pricing; ask for that rate when you book. See the full item list.
What happens if the dumpster is overfilled?
Debris must stay level with the top rim of the dumpster. Texas DOT rules don't allow us to haul an overloaded bin, so if the load is above the rim, the $125 dry-run fee applies and you remove the excess before we come back for transport.
Tips to stay under the rim are in how to load a dumpster.
Who picks the spot, and what is a dry-run fee?
You choose the drop spot, and the driver confirms it by text or call 20 to 30 minutes before arriving. A $125 dry-run fee applies if the truck can't drop or pick up the dumpster because of parked cars, low-hanging wires or a locked gate. You don't need to be home if the spot is clear.
How do you protect the driveway?
Drivers place wood boards under the dumpster's steel rollers and rails on concrete and asphalt driveways. The boards spread the weight and keep metal off the surface to prevent cracks and scratches. Any limits on responsibility for surface damage are confirmed on your quote.
Space and clearance for each size are in the driveway placement guide.
How do swaps work?
A swap means we pull your full dumpster and drop an empty one in the same trip. Each swap is billed as a new standard flat-rate rental for that size, with its own 7 days and included tons. Call when the dumpster is full to schedule the swap.
What about permits, payment, cancellation and early pickup?
Street-placement permits, payment method, any deposit, cancellation and early-pickup terms are confirmed on your quote before delivery. Ask about each one when you book so nothing on the final invoice is a surprise.
In Abilene, read the Abilene dumpster rules before placing a dumpster on a street or using one for household trash inside city limits.
How do you question a charge?
Call (325) 241-7006 with your invoice in hand. Because every weight charge comes with the landfill scale ticket, you can compare the net weight on the ticket with the tons included for your size and check the overage math line by line.
